The C-03 Horizon Tropicale incorporates the technical architecture developed for our projects with the air force. Designed to withstand pressure, shocks, and vibrations, it remains reliable in flight conditions. Its titanium case lightens the overall weight without compromising on strength. The fixed bezel, mirror-polished with a Gunmetal finish, provides a sharp contrast and a touch of understated elegance, appreciated by those seeking a discreet and elegant style.

RELIABLE MECHANICS

It features a Swiss Soprod P024 automatic movement, equipped with a custom gunmetal-finished oscillating weight. Each example is reworked in our workshop: precise adjustment, careful decoration, reinforced control. A movement prepared to last over time, in flight as well as in everyday use.

Sunburst green sandwich dial, with indexes filled with Super-Luminova® BGW9 to provide exceptional readability day and night.

The rendering of Super-LumiNova varies depending on its color.
Lighter shades allow for faster charging and provide intense, long-lasting luminosity. Darker shades, on the other hand, produce a more subtle effect with a more moderate light intensity. Proper light exposure is essential to fully activate the luminescence.

The choice of color also responds to aesthetic considerations: it is often a question of finding the right balance between luminous performance and visual harmony. For watches whose specifications require maximum nighttime readability, white Super-LumiNova is generally preferred.

In this case, if we compare the intensity of the Luminova C-03, currently the most powerful on the market and therefore equivalent to 100% according to the LumiNova classification, the Luminova BG W9 used for this version offers a luminous efficiency of approximately 95%.

WATERPROOFING

Water-resistant to 100 m (10 ATM), this watch, designed for pilots and travelers, benefits from the expertise acquired during projects carried out with various elite units of the French army. A true operational pilot's watch, made in Akrone.

To avoid any damage due to water infiltration,use while swimming should be limited to watches with screw-down crowns, such as those designed for diving. Push-in crowns, used on aviation watches, can open accidentally, by getting caught on clothing for example. And in water, an opening crown is almost guaranteed to lead to water infiltration. Prevention is better than cure.

BRACELETS

FKM rubber strap equipped with quick release spring bars and a pin buckle matching the case color.

Optional titanium bracelet with quick pump (we also provide a tool so you can adjust the bracelet size)

Your watch comes with the main strap fitted by default (standard size, suitable for a wrist of 16 to 19 cm).
If you have selected the titanium bracelet option (to be checked when ordering), this is added to the package as a supplement.
A video tutorial is provided to guide you through adjusting the bracelet.
