Akrone, founded in 2015 by Jean-François Kerboul and Erwan Kerneur, bears a name inspired by the Greek "achrone," meaning "out of time." The "K" is a nod to our initials. In Nantes, our team—designers, watchmakers, and project managers—crafts each watch with the same high standards: to create unique, timeless, and resolutely French pieces.

Some projects incorporate a charitable dimension: at the request of the units, a portion of sales is donated to military aid associations. To date, more than €100,000 has been raised.

Our workshop, located in Nantes, is the heart of our expertise. Technical conception, design, assembly, adjustments, and quality control are carried out here with the highest standards. Our team—four trained watchmakers and one designer—uses this expertise to successfully complete each custom watchmaking project, even the most technical and ambitious.

In our workshop, we prioritize precision and reliability. We select Swiss, French, and Japanese automatic movements—Sellita, Soprod, France Ébauches, and Miyota—which we rework in-house to adapt them to our standards and the constraints of each project. Each caliber is carefully adjusted and decorated, with attention to every detail.
