The Karmin C-02 Heritage recreates the style of 1960s diving watches, because we love that era and its unique aesthetic. The hand-patinated leather strap comes from a French workshop, to maintain this connection with handmade craftsmanship and authenticity. We also offer a steel bracelet, so everyone can find what truly suits them.

TECHNICAL

Our requirement

The double-domed sapphire crystal and sapphire bezel were chosen because they give the watch depth and a real presence. This crystal is more complicated to manufacture, but it's worth it: it gives that vintage charm we were looking for. The red Karmin strap is hand-patinated, sturdy, and designed to last a long time.

CRAFTSMANSHIP

MADE IN FRANCE

We selected a movement developed and assembled in Maîche, France, because we want to support our local industry. The "Top Finish" version, specially made for Akrone, is hand-set in our workshop in Nantes. This is our way of guaranteeing you a reliable watch, built with passion and expertise.

The rendering of Super-LumiNova varies depending on its color.
Lighter shades allow for faster charging and provide intense, long-lasting luminosity. Darker shades, on the other hand, produce a more subtle effect with a more moderate light intensity. Proper light exposure is essential to fully activate the luminescence.

The choice of color also responds to aesthetic considerations: it is often a question of finding the right balance between luminous performance and visual harmony. For watches whose specifications require maximum nighttime readability, white Super-LumiNova is generally preferred.

In this case, if we compare the intensity of the Luminova C-03, currently the most powerful on the market and therefore equivalent to 100% according to the LumiNova classification, the Luminova BG W9 used for this version offers a luminous efficiency of approximately 95%.

WATERPROOFING

The C-02 is designed for divers and benefits from the experience gained from elite corps such as customs divers, mine clearance divers, and marines. It is equipped with a screw-down crown: to ensure water resistance, it must be pushed in and then screwed down firmly to prevent any infiltration of water or moisture. A truly operational diver's watch, made in Akrone.

BRACELETS

Bracelets included in the basic pack:
• Tropic FKM Bracelet – One size fits all, designed for wrists from 16 to 19.5 cm
• Leather strap made in France – One size fits all, suitable for wrists from 16 to 19 cm. Hand-patinated to match the dial’s shades

Optional bracelet:
• Steel bracelet with technical folding clasp – Adjustable upon receipt, suitable for wrists from 16 to 22 cm.
Equipped with a diving extension system, allowing you to gain up to 1.3 cm.
A tool is provided to facilitate adjustment of the bracelet.

Your watch comes with the main leather strap already installed (standard size suitable for wrists from 16 to 19 cm). If you have selected the steel bracelet option (to be checked when ordering), it is added to the package as an extra. A video tutorial is provided for adjusting the straps. No adjustments are made remotely.
