With the C-02 Heritage Bourbon, we wanted to revive the style of 1960s dive watches. The amber dial and hand-patinated leather strap tell a story, a testament to French craftsmanship that we are committed to preserving. We also offer a steel bracelet with a technical folding clasp, because we know everyone has their own preferences and we want this watch to reflect your personality.

The double-domed sapphire crystal isn't just a matter of aesthetics. It's a true technical choice that adds depth to the dial and reinforces the vintage charm we love. The hand-patinated leather strap is designed to improve over time, strong and comfortable, ready to accompany you every day.

Craftsmanship

French Caliber

For this collection, we chose a France Ébauches movement made in Maîche. Supporting French watchmaking is a priority, and we wanted to offer a premium caliber that meets our standards. The "Top Finish" version, specially created for Akrone, combines careful decoration with manual adjustment carried out in our workshop in Nantes. All the passion and expertise of our team are expressed to offer you an authentic, reliable, and durable watch.

The rendering of Super-LumiNova varies depending on its color.
Lighter shades allow for faster charging and provide intense, long-lasting luminosity. Darker shades, on the other hand, produce a more subtle effect with a more moderate light intensity. Proper light exposure is essential to fully activate the luminescence.

The choice of color also responds to aesthetic considerations: it is often a question of finding the right balance between luminous performance and visual harmony. For watches whose specifications require maximum nighttime readability, white Super-LumiNova is generally preferred.

In this case, if we compare the intensity of the Luminova C-03, currently the most powerful on the market and therefore equivalent to 100% according to the LumiNova classification, the Luminova Old radium used for this version offers a luminous efficiency of approximately 75%.

The C-02 is designed for divers and benefits from experience gained working with elite units such as customs divers, mine clearance divers, and marines. It features a screw-down crown: to ensure water resistance, it must be pushed in and then screwed down firmly to prevent any water or moisture from entering. A true operational diving watch, made in Akrone.

Warning: you must under no circumstances change the watch face or open the watch yourself.
Any modification or intervention carried out outside of our workshop will void the warranty.

Please note that a screw-on base cannot be aligned: this is inherent to this type of construction.
Do not attempt to reposition it, this could compromise the seal by altering the compression of the gasket.

No custom engraving options are available on this background.

BRACELETS

Bracelets included in the basic pack:
• Tropic FKM Bracelet – One size fits all, designed for wrists from 16 to 19.5 cm
• Leather strap made in France – One size fits all, suitable for wrists from 16 to 19 cm. Hand-patinated to match the dial’s colors

Optional bracelet:
• Steel bracelet with technical folding clasp – Adjustable upon receipt, suitable for wrists from 16 to 22 cm.
Equipped with a diving extension system, allowing you to gain up to 1.3 cm.
A tool is provided to facilitate adjustment of the bracelet.

Your watch comes with the main leather strap already installed (standard size suitable for wrists from 16 to 19 cm). If you have selected the steel bracelet option (to be checked when ordering), it is added to the package as an extra. A video tutorial is provided for adjusting the straps. No adjustments are made remotely.
