The C-02 Héritage Bourbon revisits the codes of 1960s dive watches with a more contemporary interpretation, true to our vision of watchmaking. Its amber dial enhances the character of this automatic dive watch and highlights genuine finishing craftsmanship. A steel bracelet with a deployant clasp is also available for those seeking a more sporty and technical alternative.

The C-02 Héritage Bourbon 41 mm stands out with its double-domed sapphire crystal, a technical choice that adds depth to the dial and reinforces the spirit of great vintage diving watches. Its hand-patinated leather strap combines comfort, durability, and character, with a patina designed to evolve naturally over time. A combination conceived to give this automatic watch a strong presence and an assertive style.

Craftsmanship

For the C-02 Héritagecollection, we chose a France Ébauches automatic movement, developed and manufactured in Maîche, France, in line with our commitment to actively support French watchmaking. This Top finish version, specially made for Akrone, combines meticulous decoration with manual adjustment carried out in our workshop in Nantes.

Caseback:
The watch comes standard with a solid caseback ensuring 300m water resistance.
You can opt for an exhibition caseback (+€25): in this case, water resistance is 100m.
If you choose this option, both casebacks are provided (the exhibition caseback mounted and the solid caseback unmounted).

Important:
The caseback cannot be changed by yourself. Any external intervention voids the water resistance guarantee.
Any modification after receipt must be carried out in our workshop.

Last pieces available. Number selection is no longer possible: numbers are assigned randomly. Each watch is numbered XX/70.

Index applied with Super-Luminova® old radium.

The rendering of Super-LumiNova varies depending on its color.
Lighter shades allow for faster charging and provide intense, long-lasting luminosity. Darker shades, on the other hand, produce a more subtle effect with a more moderate light intensity. Proper light exposure is essential to fully activate the luminescence.

The choice of color also responds to aesthetic considerations: it is often a question of finding the right balance between luminous performance and visual harmony. For watches whose specifications require maximum nighttime readability, white Super-LumiNova is generally preferred.

In this case, if we compare the intensity of the Luminova C-03, currently the most powerful on the market and therefore equivalent to 100% according to the LumiNova classification, the Luminova Old radium used for this version offers a luminous efficiency of approximately 75%.

WATERPROOFING

300m (30ATM) with a solid bottom and 100m (10ATM) with a perforated bottom

The C-02 is designed for divers and benefits from experience gained working with elite units such as customs divers, mine clearance divers, and marines. It features a screw-down crown: to ensure water resistance, it must be pushed in and then screwed down firmly to prevent any water or moisture from entering. A true operational diving watch, made in Akrone.

Warning: you must under no circumstances change the watch face or open the watch yourself.
Any modification or intervention carried out outside of our workshop will void the warranty.

Please note that a screw-on base cannot be aligned: this is inherent to this type of construction.
Do not attempt to reposition it, this could compromise the seal by altering the compression of the gasket.

No custom engraving options are available on this background.

BRACELETS

The watch comes standard with a black Tropic FKM strap.

An adjustable steel bracelet with a deployant clasp is available as an option at the preferential price of €85 incl. VAT (instead of €130 incl. VAT if ordered separately); a leather strap, made in France and hand-patinated in bourbon color, is also available as an option at a price of €165 incl. VAT, as well as a selection of straps available in the “Straps and Accessories” section.

A video tutorial is provided for adjusting the steel bracelet. No adjustments are made remotely.

Please note that our straps are only offered in one size, suitable for wrist circumferences from 16 to 19.5 cm.
