A watch designed as a true instrument, with a strong presence without excess.

The C-03 Horizon Désertique 41mm was developed to meet demanding conditions, featuring reinforced hands, a reliable movement, and a design capable of withstanding the stresses of use. Its outer bezel, mounted on ceramic ball bearings, remains smooth to manipulate, even with gloves. Its insert includes a compass function, consistent with its field vocation and instrumental inspiration.

The C-03 Desert Horizon uses a sandwich dial coated with Super-Luminova® over its entire surface. The result: clear and immediate reading, whatever the lighting conditions.

60-click bidirectional bezel (ceramic ball bearing system). This version incorporates a bezel with directional markings (CAP) for orientation, based on the principle of a compass.

DIAL

Sandwich dial filled with Super-Luminova® for exceptional readability day and night.

The rendering of Super-LumiNova varies depending on its color.
Lighter shades allow for faster charging and provide intense, long-lasting luminosity. Darker shades, on the other hand, produce a more subtle effect with a more moderate light intensity. Proper light exposure is essential to fully activate the luminescence.

The choice of color also responds to aesthetic considerations: it is often a question of finding the right balance between luminous performance and visual harmony. For watches whose specifications require maximum nighttime readability, white Super-LumiNova is generally preferred.

In this case, if we compare the intensity of the Luminova C-03, currently the most powerful on the market and therefore equivalent to 100% according to the LumiNova classification, the custom Luminova used for this version offers a luminous efficiency of approximately 54%.

WATERPROOFING

Water-resistant to 100 m (10 ATM), the C-03 Horizon features a push-in crown that provides effective protection when closed. Easy to operate, it guarantees the case's water resistance and protects the movement from any intrusion of water, humidity, or external particles.

To avoid any damage due to water infiltration,use while swimming should be limited to watches with screw-down crowns, such as those designed for diving. Push-in crowns, used on aviation watches, can open accidentally, by getting caught on clothing for example. And in water, an opening crown is almost guaranteed to lead to water infiltration. Prevention is better than cure.

BRACELETS

The watch is equipped with a flexible and particularly resistant FKM rubber strap.

Optionally, a titanium bracelet with an adjustable deployment clasp is offered at the preferential price of €85 incl. VAT (instead of €130 incl. VAT if ordered separately), as well as a selection of straps available in the “Straps and Accessories” section.

A video tutorial is provided for adjusting the titanium bracelet. No adjustments are made remotely.

Please note that our straps are only available in one size, suitable for wrist circumferences from 16 to 19.5 cm.
