Lighter shades allow for faster charging and provide intense, long-lasting luminosity. Darker shades, on the other hand, produce a more subtle effect with a more moderate light intensity. Proper light exposure is essential to fully activate the luminescence.

The choice of color also responds to aesthetic considerations: it is often a question of finding the right balance between luminous performance and visual harmony. For watches whose specifications require maximum nighttime readability, white Super-LumiNova is generally preferred.

In this case, if we compare the intensity of the Luminova C-03, currently the most powerful on the market and therefore equivalent to 100% according to the LumiNova classification, the custom Luminova used for this version offers a luminous efficiency of approximately 54%.

Water-resistant to 100 m (10 ATM), the C-03 Horizon features a push-in crown that provides effective protection when closed. Easy to operate, it guarantees the case's water resistance and protects the movement from any intrusion of water, humidity, or external particles.

To avoid any damage due to water infiltration,use while swimming should be limited to watches with screw-down crowns, such as those designed for diving. Push-in crowns, used on aviation watches, can open accidentally, by getting caught on clothing for example. And in water, an opening crown is almost guaranteed to lead to water infiltration. Prevention is better than cure.
