Machined from carbon

The C-03 GMT ALAT 70 years is a true aviation watch, designed for action and ready to accompany you on all your missions.

Its case, machined directly from carbon, combines lightness and resistance to hydrocarbons. Two side bumpers reinforce the protection of the crown.

Its bezel, equipped with an accentuated grip, is easy to handle, even with gloves or in extreme conditions.

FUNCTION AT THE SERVICE OF ACTION

TRUE GMT

This special edition "ALAT 70 years" is equipped with the Japanese Miyota 9075 automatic movement, a true GMT.

This premium caliber allows independent adjustment of local time, convenient for tracking multiple time zones. The Akrone team reworked all adjustments in-house to ensure optimal precision. Designed for operational use, the watch can track up to three time zones simultaneously.

Bidirectional 60-click bezel (ceramic ball bearing system). It provides a UTC function, useful for tracking a second time zone. Combined with the C-03's True GMT function, it is thus possible to track up to three time zones simultaneously.

The rendering of Super-LumiNova varies depending on its color.
Lighter shades allow for faster charging and provide intense, long-lasting luminosity. Darker shades, on the other hand, produce a more subtle effect with a more moderate light intensity. Proper light exposure is essential to fully activate the luminescence.

The choice of color also responds to aesthetic considerations: it is often a question of finding the right balance between luminous performance and visual harmony. For watches whose specifications require maximum nighttime readability, white Super-LumiNova is generally preferred.

In this case, if we compare the intensity of the Luminova C-03, currently the most powerful on the market and therefore equivalent to 100% according to the LumiNova classification, the Luminova BG W9 used for this version offers a luminous efficiency of approximately 95%.

WATERPROOFING

Water-resistant to 100 m (10 ATM), the C-03 ALAT GMT features a push-in crown that provides effective protection when closed. Easy to operate, it guarantees the case's water resistance and protects the movement from any intrusion of water, humidity, or external particles.

To avoid any damage due to water infiltration,use while swimming should be limited to watches with screw-down crowns, such as those designed for diving. Push-in crowns, used on aviation watches, can open accidentally, by getting caught on clothing for example. And in water, an opening crown is almost guaranteed to lead to water infiltration. Prevention is better than cure.
