OUR VISION

The C-02 Héritage Décompression revives the spirit of 60s and 70s dive watches, with a robust construction, distinctive style, and a true decompression table faithful to period models. Produced in a limited series, it is aimed at those looking for an automatic dive watch with character, meticulous craftsmanship, and uncompromising design.

The package includes:

Double-slot carrying case

Watch with FKM tropic strap

Options, such as the steel bracelet, are added to the package. The watch is still delivered with its original FKM strap.

Bezel function

A WRIST DECOMPRESSION TABLE

The C-02 Héritage Décompression features a true decompression table engraved on its bezel, directly inspired by 1960s dive watches. More than an aesthetic detail, this feature provides a useful reference for divers to easily monitor their decompression stops. This technical and historical choice reinforces the identity of this automatic dive watch with its distinctive vintage style.

The C-02 Héritage features a France Ebauches Top finish movement, developed, machined and decorated especially for Akrone. Each caliber is then adjusted in our workshop in Nantes to guarantee precision, reliability and regularity. This is true watchmaking work carried out in France, demonstrating a level of expectation and quality comparable to the most recognized standards.

Case back:
The watch comes standard with a solid case back ensuring 200m water resistance.
You can opt for an exhibition case back (+€25): in this case, water resistance is 100m.
If you choose this option, both case backs are provided (the exhibition case back mounted and the solid case back unmounted).

Important:
The case back change cannot be performed by you. Any external intervention voids the water resistance guarantee.
Any modification after receipt must be carried out in our workshop.

The rendering of Super-LumiNova varies depending on its color.
Lighter shades allow for faster charging and provide intense, long-lasting luminosity. Darker shades, on the other hand, produce a more subtle effect with a more moderate light intensity. Proper light exposure is essential to fully activate the luminescence.

The choice of color also responds to aesthetic considerations: it is often a question of finding the right balance between luminous performance and visual harmony. For watches whose specifications require maximum nighttime readability, white Super-LumiNova is generally preferred.

In this case, if we compare the intensity of the Luminova C-03, currently the most powerful on the market and therefore equivalent to 100% according to the LumiNova classification, the Luminova BG W9 used for this version offers a luminous efficiency of approximately 95%.

MOVEMENT

France-Ebauches automatic movement - Designed / Machined / Assembled / Adjusted in France. With special decorations for Akrone: Personalized weight, rhodium-plated rose gold, Côtes de Genève on the bridges, blued screws, snailing.

WATERPROOFING

300m (30ATM) with a solid bottom and 100m (10ATM) with a perforated bottom

The C-02 is designed for divers and benefits from experience gained working with elite units such as customs divers, mine clearance divers, and marines. It features a screw-down crown: to ensure water resistance, it must be pushed in and then screwed down firmly to prevent any water or moisture from entering. A true operational diving watch, made in Akrone.

Warning: you must under no circumstances change the watch face or open the watch yourself.
Any modification or intervention carried out outside of our workshop will void the warranty.

Please note that a screw-on base cannot be aligned: this is inherent to this type of construction.
Do not attempt to reposition it, this could compromise the seal by altering the compression of the gasket.

No custom engraving options are available on this background.

BRACELETS

The watch is equipped with a soft and particularly resistant FKM rubber strap.

Optionally, a steel bracelet with an adjustable deployant clasp is available at the preferential price of €85 including VAT (instead of €130 including VAT if ordered separately), as well as a selection of bracelets available in the “Bracelets and accessories” section.

A video tutorial is provided for adjusting the steel bracelet. No remote adjustments are made.

Please note that our bracelets are only available in one size, suitable for wrist circumferences from 16 to 19.5 cm.
