Akrone: 10 years of commitment alongside the French armed forces
For ten years , Akrone has been designing custom watches that meet the operational needs of the French armed forces. This commitment is not limited to the production of high-performance timepieces. Akrone also supports military aid associations , which help the families of soldiers who have lost a loved one during an overseas operation (OPEX) .
These associations play an essential role in providing financial support to the families and children of missing soldiers, in order to accompany them through this ordeal and ensure they receive lasting support.
A concrete commitment: more than 60,000 euros donated
Since its inception, Akrone has donated more than 60,000 euros to associations such as Entraide ALAT, Entraide Marine-ADOSM and many others.
In June 2024 , a new donation of 4,450 euros was made to Entraide ALAT , bringing Akrone's total contribution to this organization to 30,000 euros .
C-02 GMT ALAT: a watch serving a cause
To mark the 70th anniversary of the Army Light Aviation (ALAT) , Akrone has developed the C-02 GMT ALAT , a watch designed in collaboration with members of ALAT.
For each watch sold, 50 euros are donated to Entraide ALAT , thus contributing directly to actions supporting the families of soldiers affected by the loss of a loved one on a mission.
Deliveries will begin in April 2025 , but it is still possible to place an order and join this project combining watchmaking expertise and solidarity commitment .
