THE RETURN OF THE FRENCH MOVEMENT WITH FRANCE ÉBAUCHES
One of the major advances in this approach is the return of the France Ébauches movement , a truly French movement that we have chosen to integrate into some of our collections. After decades of absence, France Ébauches is returning to the production of watch calibers in France, and we are proud to be part of this renaissance.

A WATCHMAKING WORKSHOP AT THE SERVICE OF EXPERTISE
Akrone has its own watchmaking workshop in France , which is rare for a young independent brand. This strategic choice allows us to control each stage of the watchmaking process :
- Design : We create watches with a strong and innovative identity, faithful to the Akrone DNA.
- Technical design : Our teams develop and optimize the technical specifications of each model.
- Assembly and adjustment : All our models pass through the expert hands of our watchmakers to guarantee their reliability and precision.
CONTROLLED SOURCING AND A RETURN OF FRENCH AND SWISS MOVEMENTS
In our price range, we do our utmost to source our materials in Europe , while guaranteeing a premium level of quality. However, the machining of the cases, dials and hands is carried out in Hong Kong , in factories respecting Swiss and French watchmaking standards for the premium segment.
In addition to the France Ébauches movements, we are gradually reintegrating Swiss movements into our collections, in order to offer a diversity of calibers adapted to the expectations of watchmaking enthusiasts.
TWO EDITIONS OF THE MADE IN FRANCE SHOW TO SHOWCASE OUR EXPERTISE
We had the honor of participating in two editions of the Salon du Made in France in Paris , a unique opportunity to highlight French watchmaking and our commitment to national know-how. This event allowed us to interact with the public, to showcase our professions and to demonstrate that French watchmaking is still very much alive .
Today, we have chosen to focus on specialist watchmaking fairs, such as WeLoveWatches Paris , which allows us to meet an informed and passionate public, in search of exceptional timepieces.
MADE IN FRANCE: A REALITY AND A COMMITMENT
While not everything in our price range can be made in France, we do our utmost to support the local watchmaking industry and preserve national expertise. Whenever possible, we prioritize French production to contribute to the revival of French watchmaking.
The manufacture of cases, dials, and hands has gradually disappeared, but their return is underway. Thanks to the growing interest in French watchmaking, this reindustrialization is progressing and will pave the way for renewed competitiveness in 100% Made in France products.
