- Durable and restorable materials : we select robust, resistant and easily reconditioned materials in order to eliminate obsolescence and extend the life of each watch.
- Raw materials from European recycling channels : we favor responsible sourcing, using alloys and components from recovery channels in Europe.
- Just-in-time, small-series production : each watch is assembled to order, thus avoiding overproduction and waste.
- A pre-order model for special and military editions : we produce only according to actual needs, without unnecessary stock.
- A watchmaking workshop based in Nantes : we centralize our activities in France to guarantee optimal quality control, support local know-how and, if necessary, take charge of your Akrone watch.
- More environmentally friendly logistics : our deliveries are made via Colissimo in mainland France, favoring more responsible transport solutions, such as rail freight and last-mile delivery using soft modes.
- Packaging designed to last : robust and multifunctional, it doesn't end up at the bottom of a cupboard, but can be cleverly reused.
Our approach is based on transparency and honesty. Everyone is free to join our approach, but we remain true to our commitments, without greenwashing or compromising on quality.
NO SALES, NO BLACK FRIDAY… JUST A FAIR PRICE
At Akrone, we reject massive discounts and artificial promotions that undermine the value of a job well done.
Our watches are not designed to be sold off. An 80% discount on a product is often a sign of an overly inflated margin or end-of-life inventory. However, a watch left on display for too long may need servicing, as its oils dry out and its settings become out of whack. Ultimately, this servicing can cost more than the savings made thanks to the discount... Beware of false bargains!
This is why we have always defended a transparent and honest approach, guaranteeing a fair, stable and consistent price all year round.
