Out-of-warranty revision

Buying Akrone also means thinking long term.

Before submitting any out-of-warranty request, please read the following information:

  • A service is recommended every 4 to 5 years, depending on use.
  • Its cost depends on the labor time and the intervention to be carried out, not on the watch's purchase price.
  • As a guide, expect to pay from €200 for a simple 3-hand automatic movement, excluding shipping, parts, and unforeseen circumstances.
  • In the event of a more extensive intervention, particularly for a restoration, the cost may be higher.
  • The average lead time is 9 to 15 weeks.
  • Once the warranty has expired, you can have your watch serviced by Akrone or by a qualified local watchmaker.
  • Return shipping to the workshop is at your expense and responsibility. We recommend taking out transport insurance with your chosen carrier.
  • If you wish to have your watch serviced by our workshop, return procedures and available slots will be communicated to you on the Friday following your request.
  • Please do not send anything before you have received the service procedures.
