Originally conceived as a print magazine, 12h12 now carries that same spirit forward as an online journal dedicated to watchmaking.

We explore a wide range of horological topics: movements, maintenance, certifications, manufacturing, design, professional applications, history and craftsmanship. Subjects that are often discussed but not always fully understood, and that deserve clear, accurate explanations.

Each article begins with a practical question about watchmaking and explores it in an accessible way, without unnecessary jargon or marketing language. Our aim is to offer a clear understanding of watches, informed by our experience at the workbench, our bespoke projects and our perspective as an independent watchmaking company.
