Akrone Aviation Toolwatch: Field Requirements, Update
A redesign dictated by practice
2025 marks a major evolution at Akrone: all C collections benefit from a global upgrade.
But for us, the upgrade isn't a marketing concept. It's based on years of discussions with those who wear our watches in the field, in cockpits, on tarmacs, in operational conditions, or simply in urban or leisure use.
Result: the C-03 evolves in depth, without ever denying its technical DNA.
Greater clarity in reading, greater precision in adjustments, more aesthetically assertive lines.
We had the pleasure of testing our new C-03 GMT HUD in real-life conditions in Senegal. Our friend, jewelry adventurer Raphael Griffon, currently on an expedition tracking the country's gold mines, agreed to take it with him to put it to the test. C-03 Horizon: two formats, three territories
The C-03 Horizon Edition 2025 is now available in two distinct versions:
• 39 mm without external bezel : a clean, readable format, for a more sober, almost “field watch” approach.
• 41 mm with bidirectional external bezel : a more technical version, with a bezel with compass function, GMT... according to the variations.
Each variation ( Austral , Tropical , Desert ) is not just a simple colored dial: it evokes an environment of use and includes a function adapted to its theme:
• Austral : a polar atmosphere, a design designed for readability in low contrast
• Tropical : reinforced markers, indexes very readable in humid conditions
• Desert : a dial and bezel treatment designed for high-light and dusty environments
Each version is designed for effective reading, whatever the context.
The new Swiss caliber Soprod P-024 has allowed us to create a thinner case, with reworked finishes: sharper angles, more marked alternation of brushed and polished, and, on the dial, enhanced night-time readability thanks to a new-generation Swiss Super-LumiNova .
All the straps offered (titanium, rubber, leather), included as standard or available as an option, are now equipped with Presto pumps for quick, tool-free changes, allowing you to adapt the look of the watch to the desired use.

C-03 GMT: 3 time zones, 3 atmospheres, 1 DNA
The C-03 GMT Edition 2025 incorporates the Miyota 9075 True GMT movement.
This caliber allows instant reading of two time zones, and the bidirectional 24-hour bezel allows a third time zone to be added on the fly.
The forged carbon case offers a raw aesthetic, excellent scratch resistance, and a real wrist presence. This is a watch built for adventure.
The collection is available in three graphic variations:
• Volt : a touch of technical yellow
• Mirage : a desaturated sandy tone
• HUD : green markings inspired by cockpit displays
Readability remains a priority, even with a strong graphic personality.
A very limited edition anniversary edition
To celebrate Akrone's 10th anniversary, a special edition of the C-03 GMT is launched in collaboration with TB Outdoor.
This exclusive version is offered in a pack limited to 100 copies per variation , at a price of 799 euros including tax , including:
• The C-03 GMT 10-year limited edition
• A TB Outdoor knife specially designed for this collaboration, engraved (numbered edition of 300 pieces)
• The patch
• The compass key ring
