Akrone and the French Army: 10 years of collaboration and commitment
For a decade now, Akrone has been supporting the French armed forces by designing tailor-made watches , adapted to the realities of the field and the requirements of operational units. More than 100 personalized projects have been created, each watch being designed to meet the specific needs of the soldiers who wear them.
And this July 14, 2024 , some of them will parade with an Akrone on their wrist . A strong symbol, which illustrates our pride in seeing our creations accompany those who serve the nation.
Watches designed for the military, with the military
At Akrone, we go far beyond simply customizing the dial with a unit logo. Every project is a collaboration : from the selection of materials to the integration of specific features, each watch is designed to be a true field tool , designed to meet the requirements of the military personnel who wear it.
With more than 100 military projects completed and thousands of soldiers wearing our watches , our expertise is now a benchmark in the field. This unique experience demonstrates our ability to design robust timepieces, adapted to the realities of the field, and to support each unit with a level of requirement commensurate with their missions.
Concrete support for the armed forces
Committing to the military doesn't stop at designing technical watches. For 10 years, Akrone has supported military aid associations , donating more than 60,000 euros to help soldiers' families.
Last June , we made a new donation of 5,750 euros to Entraide ALAT , bringing our total contribution to 30,000 euros for this essential cause. These funds help provide support to military families affected by the loss of a loved one on an overseas operation, a commitment that takes on its full meaning on this day of July 14 .
A commitment that continues
This special relationship with the French armed forces is only growing stronger. Akrone continues to develop robust watches adapted to the needs of professionals , while remaining faithful to its commitment to the military community.
