The news did not go unnoticed by members of the Facebook group "Klubakrone" (video dated February 14, 2024): Akrone, on the occasion of its tenth anniversary in 2025, is preparing a complete metamorphosis of its collections, marked by major innovations in both aesthetic and technical terms. The iconic C collections will be at the heart of this revolution.
A strong comeback: Swiss movements are making a big comeback among the Akrone collections!
Among the most notable changes, Akrone has decided to return to Swiss movements, responding to a recurring request from its customers since the discontinuation of the K collections. This decision marks a new era for the C series watches.
But the surprises don't stop there. Other new items will be added to the C collections, demonstrating Akrone's commitment to innovation.
France Ebauches: French commitment at the heart of our movements!
Akrone also maintains its commitment to the French watchmaking industry by offering the movement from the France Ebauches manufacture within its C-02 Héritage range, thus providing a credible alternative to Swiss and Japanese movements with a movement truly made in France and premium finishes (blued screws, Côtes de Genève, snailing, and a personalized rhodium-plated mass in rose gold), an exclusivity that only Akrone currently offers.
Akrone: Betting on Sustainability for its New Collections!
For these new collections, Akrone is focusing on sustainable materials, mostly sourced from recycling channels such as titanium, 316L steel, ceramic, carbon... The use of recycled materials does not mean lower quality or lower raw material costs, quite the contrary! Finally, the collections are designed for simplified maintenance, thus guaranteeing excellent durability over time. This is a commitment whose objective is to reduce the carbon footprint of each collection, a major challenge for the coming decades!
